Legal English

Courses for multinational legal firms which deal with colleagues and clients in English and aim to develop their communication skills in a legal context.

By the end of the courses the participants will have the tools necessary to:


  • Use the correct legal terminology in English
  • Read and clearly understand legal documents in English
  • Confidently deal with colleagues and clients face to face, over the phone and via email

Course Content

Participants are required to identify which specific areas of legal English they would most like to improve, so that the course can be structured around those needs.

Level of English required: In order to participate in our legal English courses, it is necessary to have a starting level of B1 (CEF).

Course length: 50 hours

Course Structure

  • Standard - 25 x 2hr encounters
  • Seminar - 6 days of training spread over a two month period (approx.)

Teaching: our courses are lead by English and American mother tongue lawyers and graduates in law
